A favorite place to go to eat, drink, meet people and hang out watching a game. Nice people. Management acts like they are glad you are there. They also aren't tourist haters like the Shamrock.
This place is amazing. great crowd, especially when that long road bunch is around...
The specials are usually pretty good. Lake perch excellent. Whitefish reliably good. Never got there early enough to try the ribs. The rest of the menu is eh! with some dreadful exceptions.
By far the best on the island unless you are willing to pay through the nose.
Layla (sp?) was amazing. Visited here from out of town and everything from drinks, to service, to atmosphere was exactly what our group needed. Everyone in the bar was hospitable and welcoming and the scotch selection was pretty great as well.
