Interesting slice of history. The lighthouse is open to the public to climb and view from the top. They accept donations to go towards restoring the light house.

Great historical lighthouse.
Stayed over the weekend with some friends and we all tried to bike from the northside to the Lighthouse. Needless to say we all didn't make it, but the ride was worth it. Great views and just a cool landmark in general. Look forward to visiting the island again coming back to the lighthouse and seeing it with my children.
With not alot to do on the island , just remember it's on the opposite side of the island.
