The Beaver Island Lodge offers great views of Lake Michigan and some of the best food you can find on the island. The service is very good but can be slow. You should plan on spending about $30 on your plate.

Expected authentic beaver housing, got a twin bed. Food was... shmeeh and watch out for the guy next to you because he's friends with everybody in the restaurant/lodge. This island is too small. Definitely going to the Bahamas next holiday.
The service is very good. Comfortable room with nice bed and refrigerator and microwave and sink but no stove or oven or hot plate. The bathroom was a little bit ramshackle. It is a 3/4 mile walk to the grocery store. The view from the room of Lake Michigan is extraordinary. Best thing at Beaver Island Lodge is the restaurant. The food is five star.
